Poor sweet Ella

Well I seem to have been slow with my blog all I can say is sorry I've not been at my best and then Ella our sweet natured Labrador had been ill since the start of December. It started when we noticed the one of the black cats had lost fur on her head and we checked all the girls and bingo Ella had it as well so we went to the vet, antibiotics etc and Quink was back to her bad tempered self but Ella seemed to get better and then she started to moult more hair and nothing grew to replace it!!!!
Back to the vets tests etc and all of them were negative nothing absolutely nothing our poor vet was worried she asked us to ring every few days and Ella was having remission and we thought brilliant she's  getting better-and boy were we wrong. Then it was anti biotics  steroids and a bath every three or four days and gradually she seemed to be getting better. Ella started to grow fur again and yes we stupidly thought we were winning and then virtually all her fur fell out at the moment we think she's carrying about 15% of her own fur. So come Monday she's back to the vet and please let her. Start on the road to recovery.
During the night recently she's started to ask to go out an be clean so I get up and let her out and then when she comes back in bingo she climbs onto the bed and goes to sleep. But the thing is she's an animal magnet and three of the cats want to sleep with her and then I need to find space normally I manage but I rarely go back to sleep thank god for the Internet and iPad kindle books and magazines.
So now we pray that she's going to get better. But sometimes I feel so helpless I help to bathe her stay with her stroke her help her if she needs it.
